I was on my way towards Rex’s house. He, being the best friend that he is, decided to invite me, and only me, over for a movie night. Something I have never heard of in my entire life. But I have never been more excited to join him as I have now. Despite being my best friend, I don’t get to hang out with Rex very often. This was because I was never human. Ever since I was born, I was forced by my family to blend into human society. You see, I was a dragon. A water type dragon to be exact. But us dragons have been exiled, and seen as monsters to the human kind for the last, however many centuries. Many of us wanted to fight back, but a few of us, including my particularly long family of water dragons, want to make peace between humans. So in order to do that, we had to understand humans, their needs and wants, and why they see us dragons as threats. And oh what better way for us to do that, than to, you know, become humans.
