deviantART Alternatives [UPDATED]
○ Many people have been working towards making dA alternatives. These are the ones that I can confirm are still actively being worked on. I am updating this at least every 2 months if not more. ○ Please share this post to spread the word and suggest sites for me to share! If you care about a site/app, then one of the best things you can do is to talk about it publicly! Tell your friends, share their social media posts, and talk about it online. Even if I choose not to share a website in this journal, I encourage you to share various art sites in the comments and read them for further recommendations. deviantART alternatives[UPDATED]
DeviantArt has seen better days, and for me the uncontrolled AI flood has been the tipping point, I doubt this place is ever going to improve again, not under this management. I've advertised other's journals about deviantArt alternatives in the past but I thought it can't hurt to review some of them myself, the more the merrier. I'll keep updating this journals as I learn about new online art outlets: side7.com: Old fashioned site that feels alot like old deviantArt in parts. Allows illustrations, photography, literature, and audio submissions. It has some features that got replaced/lost with eclipse, like categories. It lacks the ability to create gallery folders as on dA, but has a portfolio option and 'serial' feature intended for webcomics, chapter-based writing, or any other similar art forms, which you can use as substitute for galleries. Not very active currently but with the continual decline of dA place it might grow. No algorithm curated feeds. Newgrounds.com: Allows for

Become a Beta Tester on DeviantArt!
Join the beta testing program to help test and improve future DeviantArt features! Beta testing is a cornerstone of DeviantArt’s history, and beta testers benefit the community by providing feedback and usage data. Through bug reports and insight shared during the testing stages, beta testers can help shape and improve site features. Any deviant can become a beta tester by adding this journal to their favourites. :+fav: New Beta Testers are added daily; once you favorite this journal, you'll gain access the following day. If you decide later that you want to opt-out, you can do so by removing this journal from your favorites and you'll be removed the following day. :sherlock: How It Works Beta testers are among the first to see new features introduced to DeviantArt. This early access is provided so deviants can test new features and provide feedback for the DeviantArt team through comments, bug reports, and user engagement metrics before it's released sitewide. When there’s an

(bumping up because DA inches closer to implementing Eclipse and apparently I am a lucky few able to escape it for now after today. Eclipse may be 2020's doom for the month of May.)
NOT MINE nor do I work for them!!! I just want them to be successful!!!
Some of you may be asking "What the heck is Artrise?"
Artrise is an art website in development that isn't furry specific or anything like that. It strives to be the user friendly website DA is failing to be with their Eclipse design. They have a discord where they post about updates to the site's development and you can even suggest new features and ideas to them (unlike DA where they have
Poland Trolls Climate CON - Chinese Middle Finger. by ControversyInc, journal
Poland Trolls Climate CON - Chinese Middle Finger.
A two week gathering of diplomats and climate 'experts' on man-made global warming started in Katowice, Poland this week. The purpose of the meetings is to strengthen the Paris Climate Accord to stem purported climate damage, which the environmentalists claim, is caused by burning fossil fuel. Note that the greatest bugaboo to the enviros is not oil; it's coal. To them, coal is so evil that President Barack Hussein Obama promised to shut down the entire U.S. coal industry through the heavy hand of government regulations.
So how was the Katowice conference kicked off?
The Polish Coal Miners band, dressed in smart black unif

Zootopia: A Modern 'Animal Farm'
Want to teach your kids about the dangers of reverse racism? Show them Zootopia.
WARNING! Major spoiler alert! I'll be pretty much giving away the entire movie plot here, so read at your own risk.
In 1945, George Orwell published Animal Farm, an allegorical novel that used animals to depict issues in his society. Disey's recent movie Zootopia (or Zootropolis for my U.K. buddies) is a modern-day Animal Farm, in a sense. Animal Farm was an allegory of George Orwell's society, just like Zootopia is an allegory of our society. Both deal with issues relevant to the societies they were written for. Of course, the film is first and foremost a cute

Are We Not A Democracy? (Trump Election Backlash)
I originally created this account for the sole purpose of commentating on current social and political issues that are of importance to me, all the while not calling out any particular political party. This is still where I stand, but I find myself unable to remain silent on the insanity which has currently gripped politics.
I will say Trump was far from being my first choice of candidate (like Hillary). I consider myself as more of a leftist on many issues, but on days like these, I would be too ashamed to ever wear such a label. I am sick of feminist, LGBT, BLM social justice warriors, and other liberal lunatics resorting toward t
Imagine that you were a factory worker living in a Midwestern town. Perhaps in Ohio or Michigan, maybe Wisconsin. You worked hard at your union job alongside people of several different races and backgrounds. It paid well. You judged people based on their deeds, not the color of their skin or any other external quality. If people were honest and hardworking, you liked them, and if not, no. You are a white man, but you don't judge people based on their race, creed, or origin.
You and your wife made enough money for a house, two cars, and had plenty of cash left over to raise two children. You weren't rich, but you made ends meet and had some
1. They oppose freedom of speech. When someone says something they don't like, they call it "hate speech."
2. They cannot stand ideas which contradict them, which is why they hide in "safe spaces."
3. They label their opponents "bigots", no matter what the actual views of their opponents are.
4. They try to turn colleges into their home, trying to close their minds rather than open them.
5. They wish to infantilize universities by placing "trigger warnings" or outright banning material which they disapprove of, such as Greek mythology.
6. They claim to speak for everyone who isn't white, male, or straight.
7. They claim that any minorities o
